Antique Bohemian Loetz Rubina / Vaseline Pele Mele Floriform Art Glass Vase

This is an extraordinary centerpiece from Loetz, 1894 or after. Decorated with
Pêle-mêle. This shape was certainly constructed in sections. The ground colour is a spreading Rubina with applied colourless threading and applied vaseline green motifs. The vase at the bottom of the stem has applied leaves and rests in a bed of applied drips that is attached to the top of the hollow ball vase. The tapered vase with flared rim and the hollow ball vase with two side openings have "scissor-cut" edges on the rims. The hollow ball also rests in a bed of applied drips that serves as the footed base. Polished pontil on the base. Extremely heavy at almost 4 pounds and is very large in size.
16-1/2" tall, complete.
The tapered vase with flared rim is 10" tall and the rim is 5" diameter.
The hollow ball vase has a 3" opening on each side and is almost 7" across.
The applied base is 6" diameter.
The wooden base is not included.
