    Description

Up for your consideration:  A very special collection of arrowheads from the estate of Louis Corneil Gulley (1871-1946)
Please view pictures for details using your "zoom" feature and feel free to email me with any questions. I am also happy to provide more pictures if needed.
PLEASE NOTE:  The two salmon colored petrified wood slabs ARE NOT included with this lot. Everything else pictured is.
This collection is from all over the United States collected before Mr. Gulley's death in 1946.
The following states are:  Arkansas, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, Wisconsin,Arizona,Ohio, Massachusetts, Oregon and California.
Boxes were handmade from repurposing from existing boxes of that time adding hand cut glass display lids.  These are fragile with the frames of the top lid falling apart. Note the tiny descriptions on a sliver of paper.  That was how it was identified who's collection this came from.
Provided is a link to information on Mr. Gulley explaining how he was an avid collector of artifacts and minerals and how part of his collection ended up in California with intentions of opening a museum in Venice California in the last years of his life. It is fortunate that I was able to aquire a small collection in tact.  There were boxes of rock and mineral that were also in one of the lots that I was unable to attain. I found these at a local flea market in Socal.
