This listing is for a large Chinese porcelain covered ginger jar. It measures 16 1/2 inches high to the top of the finial on the cover and is 10 1/4 inches at its widest. It has a black ground with an elaborate floral and butterfly motif in multiple colors. There are peony flowers, chrysanthemums, apple blossoms, and morning glory flowers. There are geometric borders on the top and bottom rims of the jars. It is marked on the bottom with a red Chinese character mark. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks and it is ready for your home or shop. Please see the photos for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
