I found that PITT & SCOTT LTD is a historic company in London that specializes in packing precious art plus special exhibition items and fine objects like this amazing large pair.  Perhaps this pair was packed by PITT & SCOTT LTD to send to or from GLENN DALLAS or to the new owner of this pair.
Condition:
Both vases are in very good condition, especially for their great age of 90 to 150 years.  There is some expected gold loss on the designs and trim, natural encased tiny ash inclusions and other natural textural effects - which are original to the pieces.  Many very tiny scratches on the bottoms are indicative of their great age.  Sale is final.
